Facebook-Tracking gibt es schon wesentlich länger

Seit 12.

For years people have noticed a funny thing about Facebook’s ubiquitous Like button. It has been sending data to Facebook tracking the sites you visit. Each time details of the tracking were revealed, Facebook promised that it wasn’t using the data for any commercial purposes.

Bis dann, im September 2011 der Patentantrag „A method is described for tracking information about the activities of users of a social networking system while on another domain“ kam und nun bittere Realität wurde.

Kann man etwas dagegen tun? Ja, ziemlich einfach sogar. Tracking blockieren.
