WordPress raus, Medium rein

Medium gives me just one thing to do; write — and little else. There are no themes to obsess about getting pixel perfect, no updates to install, no plug-ins to try out and then abandon, no MySQL databases to wrestle with, and my most favorite of all; no out of pocket hosting costs. […] So instead of writing, I became obsessed with the look of my site, trying one theme after another — both free and paid — as well as coding several themes of my own from scratch. I spent countless hours tweaking page layouts by just a pixel or two, while creating next to no content.

Sicher, der Punkt ist gemacht. Aber Medium? Zentralisierter Dienst, Tracking, usw…
