For a traditional developer that wants to get their hands dirty with code I think GeneratePress is the stronger option as its more minimal features out of the box are perfect for sculpting into your masterpiece. If you just want to install a theme and get going, however, Blocksy is the better option.

Ich habe mir auch schon beide angesehen und es ist genau so, wie Chris Wiegman schreibt: Mit GeneratePress ist alles machbar, aber die Einstiegshürden sind relativ hoch. Blocksy bringt einen auf 90-95% des avisierten Ziels hin, die letzten 5-10% sind dann eher mühsam umzusetzen. Aber alles in allem Blocksy, ja. (Auch wenn ich dort im Quellcode Funktionen, die mit „elementor_“ prefixed sind, gefunden habe.)
