Der Artikel bei Open Culture bringt noch ein paar Details mehr, unter anderem habe ich dort erstmalig einen Begriff in einem völlig anderen Zusammenhang kennengelernt. Die kalte und pragmatische Einheite „Megadeath“ bezeichnet 1 Million Todesopfer. – Es ist fast absurd, wie weit weg und gleichzeitig wie nah so ein Szenario vom Vorstellbaren liegt. Und ja, es ist genau so furchtbar, wie man sich das vorstellt – wenn man sich so etwas vorstellen kann, auch wenn das Video mit seiner Ästhetik eines Architekturmodells vieles von dem Grauen eben durch die Abstraktion abmildert.
