Es ist unglaublich, wie schnell man vom Zauber statistischer Wahrscheinlichkeiten hin zur Wahrnehmung automatisiert generierter Sprache als falschen Gott kommen kann, wenn man das der Sprache innewohnende bzw. sie begründende menschliche Denken und unsere unabdingbare Körperlichkeit in einem allumfassenden Kontext betrachtet und sich nicht nur auf Techno-Kapitalismus und Fortschrittsreligion einschränkt, dabei außer Acht lassend, was es eigentlich ist, das wir sehen, wenn wir ChatGPT sehen.

Der Artikel ist sehr ausführlich, sehr lange und mehr als lesenswert. Er ist aber auch zu komplex und mit zu vielen Beispielen ausgestattet, die es lohnt, mitzudenken und selbst zu lesen, als dass ich ihn hier wiedergeben könnte, ohne ihn in einem Ausmaß zu kürzen, das ihn unattraktiv erscheinen lassen würde.
Es bleibt also für die Interessierten nicht viel übrig als sich einen Kaffee oder Tee zu machen, zwanzig Minuten Zeit zu nehmen und den Artikel drüben bei The Walrus zu lesen: AI is a false God.
